Buffet Crampon – Instruments Workshop

Pop music with brass instruments:
phat brass with FättesBlech

Vibrating brass, buzzing ears, tingling lips and fingers dancing over valves: this is a workshop for all brass instrument fans and lipping freaks. For trumpets, trombones, saxophones, horns and tuba players – a workshop for people who don’t just want to holiday at Brass Palmas!

Florian Hatzelmann (tuba), Isabella Lingg (saxophone), Bartholomäus Natter (trumpet) and Andreas Joos (trombone/tenor horn/baritone horn) – all members of the team that hammered out FättesBlech – will work on the foundations of brass music with 25 participants per session. Over one and a half hours, you will learn about everything you can blast out of your instrument, from the basics like breathing, buzzing, flexibility and tongue techniques to working on a final piece together.

The number of participants is limited to 25 per workshop, and as often in life, it’s on a first come, first served basis. Participation is free of charge, but certainly not free of value – or of effort! Registration is possible from 25 September 2019 at 9:00 through the Brass Palmas App.
